Q: How would you describe your style photography?

A:  My style is very romantic and filled with real emotion. I'm not wild about the posey 1980 prom-type images but I will certainly get some of you both looking at the camera so parents and grandparents will have pictures of your beautiful faces to show off!!  My favorite images are always the ones with real smiles and genuine laughing and you just enjoying the moments.

Q: How long have you been in the photography business?

A: For as long as I can remember I have always had a camera in my hand.  I starting taking pictures of my niece when she was around 3 years old and she has just recently graduated from college so photography has been my passion for quite a while. In 2009 I was lucky enough to start enjoying my passion as a full time career. God has truly blessed me every step of the way and I have seen my business grow by leaps and bounds.

Q: What type of gear do you use?

A: I am a Canon girl and I have a Mark III camera which I LOOOVE! I use a variety of 2.8 lenses both Canon and Sigma as well as the 600EX Canon flash. I also carry a 7D as a back up camera.

I edit on a Mac and have all the most recent lightroom amd Photoshop software.

Q:  What advice would you give a bride who is looking for a wedding photographer?
A: Make sure you like what you see first and most importantly, make sure you click with the photographer.  This is the only vendor who is with you the whole day from start to finish and it is very important to have personalities that are a great fit!

Look for versatility in their photography; be certain they are able to make a simple location look extraordinary through their use of light, composition, and the way they can help bring out your emotion. Also, ask for references and read reviews about the photographer. Anyone can have a good set of photos, but it is important that they are consistent throughout their work. Website and portfolio images are usually the best of the best they have captured but if you see a wedding from begining to the end you can see that they can move from one lighting situation to the next without changing quality in the images.  Do not be afraid to ask to see some albums with complete weddings.

Q: What types of products do you offer?

A: The typical products in my packages and ala carte list are high resolution digital images, custom albums, wall portraits, canvas mounts, usb drives and prints.  But I have accounts with 4 professional print companies that offer thousands of products.   I can get your image printed on practically anything you have seen on the market.

Q: How long does it take to get our images back?

A:  For portrait sessions you will sneak peaks in 1-2 days after your session on facebook and full galleries within 1 week. With Weddings you should have sneak peaks up on facebook within a few days and full galleries no later than 2 weeks. Print orders take only a few days to recieve and Albums take a few weeks.

Q: How far out should we book a wedding photographer?

A:  It is never to early to reserve a great photographer for your wedding day. Most of them get booked up pretty fast for saturdays.. I typically book weddings on an average about a year out but I have booked a few within months of the wedding date so always ask about availability!

Q: How do I reserve a date?

A:  For weddings I only require a $300 non-refundable retainer fee that goes towards your package. This will take your date off the market! For all other sessions I require 50% of the session fee due when bookng and the remainder at the session.  You can call me at 912-508-2912 to schedule a no obligation consult anytime!! I would love to hear all about the big day plans!!
